Church attacks: Mangalore in turmoil

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh called up Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and took stock of the situation.
He urged Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa to act quickly on the issue and ensure that the violence comes to an end.
However, Yeddyurappa while condemning the incident termed it as a conspiracy to destabilise the government.
