A third complaint was filed against Maharashtra Navanirman Sena president Raj Thackeray in Jharkhand in connection with the violence by the party's activists on Hindi-speaking candidates of railway recruitment examination in Mumbai.
The case was filed in the court of the chief judicial magistrate here by Sonu Singh, the president of Garwah Nagar Mandal of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
The complainant levelled charges against the MNS chief under Sections 153a (promoting enmity between classes), 153b (imputations, assertions pre-judicial to national integration) and 295a (maliciously insulting the religion or religious beliefs of any class) of IPC.
An advocate Rakesh Ranjan had filed a complaint against Thackeray in a Jamtara court yesterday.
A Jamshedpur court has already issued warrants against the MNS president earlier this month on similar grounds.
