'If I say anything, it'll be the headline tomorrow'

The mood was one of adulation and Archer wasn't willing to permit a single discordant note in it.

When a fan pointed a flaw in one of his plots, a section of readers booed. A triumphant Archer simply dismissed the query with a "See, they are with me, not with you."

Politics continues to be a sore issue with him. Going by his track record, you can't really blame him. When asked his take on politics, he chose to steer clear. "If I say anything," he exclaimed, "it'll be the headline tomorrow."
