President Bush and his wife, Laura, paid a visit to Queen Elizabeth at the Buckingham Palace for a 45-minute tea meeting.
According to the Telegraph, the US First Couple were given a tour of the Windsor Castle.
President signed off his eight-day European tour with a visit to Northern Ireland, where he met the new first minister Peter Robinson and his deputy Martin McGuinness, whose parties now work together after years of conflict between Protestants and Catholics.
Bush left the British-ruled province on June 16 after a four-hour visit, concluding, what could be, his last overseas trip as President of the United States of America.
