Festival supervisor Alastair Strauss puts the finishing touches to some of the sand sculptures at the Sand Sculpture Festival in Weston Super Mare in England.
Sand artists from across the globe have gathered at the festival to create themes, buildings and landmarks from 360 tonnes of sand.
The festival gives artistes the opportunity to showcase their talent till the end of August.
