'Indian community will vote for Hillary, because we practise groupism'

February 06, 2008
Name: Nilesh Dasondi
Age: NA
Industry: Entrepreneur
Party: Democrat
Voted for: Hillary Clinton
Most important issues: Economy/Taxes/Health Care/National Security

"I like both candidates, and I feel Obama is rather comparable to Hillary. But, Hillary carries much more experience, and that's needed to run the most important country in the world. Obama should sit back and learn from Hillary while she is President, and perhaps he can follow her in office some day. Obama will have to learn so much if he's elected; and as we're heading into a recession, I really don't think we have the time. Plus, it's easy to talk about change, but not easy to execute it.

Hillary has the ability and experience to live up to her promises. I assure you, the Indian community will vote for Hillary, because we practise groupism. When they see the 'village' vote for Hillary, they'll do the same. Plus, the Clinton's are very respected in our community for helping the economy flourish in the 1990's, when everyone had great jobs and the stock market was booming. Hillary will win today because young people will not go and vote in the primary. Obama's main supporters are college kids, who have to be literally dragged to the polls."
