The Bharatiya Janata Party has called upon the Centre to take tough stand against Pakistan for using its territory to launch attack on India and urged the United States and other countries to put pressure on Pakistan to hand over terrorists to India.
Party leader, Ravi Shankar Prasad, asked the Centre to stop using certain adjectives that suit the Pakistani government.
"It is high time India stopped using the term "Non-State Actors" while describing terrorists from Pakistan. Such usages were used by Pakistan to save its face. Therefore, non-state actors became stateless actors," he said.
Pakistan had been asking for credible evidence despite the fact that the terrorists who attacked Mumbai were backed by training imparted to them by ISI in various camps run by the Pakistani army.
"The terrorists who carried out attack in Mumbai, had all the backing in terms of training and availability of weapons. And this would not have been possible without the active involvement of important segments of the Pakistani establishments. The weapons, grenades and explosives bore the same mark, which are used by the Pakistan Army."
"The high quality GPS system used and the maritime (naval) operations undertaken by the terrorists from Karanchi to Mumbai clearly demonstrated that they were given highly specialised training both in maritime and urban warfare which was possible only where naval commandos are trained. In fact, there are reports that they were given specialised training at PNS Iqbal meant for naval commandos," Prasad said.
"A month has passed and still the government is contemplating action. Whatever is the government decision we will go along with them," Prasad said.
