A powerful bomb was recovered from a cinema hall in Assam's Goalpara district when a film show was in progress, official sources said on Wednesday.
The bomb was noticed on Tuesday night by a member of the audience inside the cinema hall at Ambari in West Goalpara, during the interval. The hall authorities then halted the film's screening and informed the police.
The bomb was defused early Wednesday morning, sources said.
