Flowers for Irwin

September 4, 2007

The death of Irwin, who was virtually an Australian icon, last year saw the nation heart-broken.

Bouquets and flowers poured into Beerwah.

An Australian-style casual, but very moving celebration of life ceremony was held at the Australia Zoo attended by 5,000 and broadcast to 300 million people around the world. Australian Prime Minister John Howard attended the event.

Iriwn's eight-year-old daughter Bindi Sue stole the moment when she spok about her dad.
