Diwali celebrations in New York

The Indian-American community celebrated Diwali at the Queens Library, Flushing in New York on Monday.
New York City Council Member John Liu and the Hindu Temple Society of North America, along with Senator Toby Stavisky and Assembly Member Ellen Young, celebrated the festival of lights in style.
