What a wonderful world!

The Pyramids, Giza, Egypt
The only survivor of the original Seven Wonders of the World.
The Pyramids of Giza were built over 20 years and completed by 2560 BC under the reign of five pharaohs.
Some facts you probably did not know:
Till 1300 AD the loftiest pyramid at Giza -- The Great Pyramid -- was the tallest building in the world. Then the Lincoln Cathedral in Lincoln, England, surpassed it.
It is estimated that anywhere between 30,000 and 360,000 workers built the Pyramids.
The Pyramids were constructed from blocks of basalt, granite and limestone sourced locally.
The largest pyramid weighs an estimated 5.9 million tonnes.
Ancient maps revealed there was a special town for the men/women who built the Pyramids. The town had a cemetery, a beer factory, copper smelting facilities and bakeries.
The workmanship and draftmanship on the Pyramids was top quality. Later day architects say the base of the Pyramids falls short of being a perfect square by 58 mm.
