t started when a community in Rajasthan demanded they be included in the list of Scheduled Tribes.
The protest turned violent, and on the first day 13 people were killed, as the police had to fire to quell the Gujjar violence.
After hectic parleys, even as the government said the issue was resolved, more protests broke out and more people were killed.
On the third day, a community which that already in the Scheduled Tribes list joined in, saying they will lift the road blockades put up by the Gujjars and joined in.
With more than 20 people killed, Rajasthan still waits for a solution.
