The condition of Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, who was admitted to All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi after he complained of giddiness, is stable.

"His health is stable and we are satisfied. We will decide in the evening whether to discharge him on Friday or keep him for one more day," AIIMS spokesperson Shakti Gupta told PTI.

Vajpayee was admitted to a private ward in the Cardio-Thoracic and Neuro-Sciences Centre of AIIMS after he complained of drowsiness and giddiness two days ago.

A team of doctors, including a cardiologist and neurologist, are looking after him.

"He is still under observation, but is much better. All his vital signs are normal," Shakti said adding that reports of all the tests, including MRI, are ok.

"He is stable. His pulse and blood pressure is stable," the spokesman said, adding, "We are keeping him in hospital to complete all our investigations".
