embers of the Indian Student Association, New Mexico Tech, Socorro, New Mexico, USA organised a seven-day Ganesh Puja.
Sandeep Arya of the association offers a picture of their Ganesha.
He says: We made a 3.5 foot Lord Ganesh from clay with the help of a ceramics artist from our school.
We did puja continuously for those days, both morning and evening. We did the visarjan
in a lake. A MahaPrasadi was organised which was attended by Americans, Brazilian and students from other countries. It was a really fun, religious event.
