Praveen, from Bangalore, sends a picture of a typical South Indian Ganesha murti
He says: This is the kind of Ganesha usually brought to South Indian homes in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It is made of clay and other materials and is completely eco-friendly. We prefer this Ganesha over the coloured Ganesha because that is our tradition.
