With the issue of sealing of unauthorised commercial activities in Delhi set to rock the winter session of Parliament, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is likely to hold talks with all political parties on the controversial drive to have a comprehensive and collective view on the subject.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister P R Dasmunsi told reporters in New Delhi on Tuesday that the Group of Ministers, headed by Home Minister Shivraj Patil, was already deliberating on the matter.

An all-party meeting convened by Speaker Somnath Chatterjee ahead of the winter session starting Wednesday saw demands from several parties that there was a need for a comprehensive and collective view on the issue, he said.

Dasmunsi said if need be, the prime minister could hold talks with all political parties on the issue.

The government has been on the look out for a solution to the vexed issue and, in the aftermath of the violence in the traders' bandh against the sealing drive, formed the GoM to resolve the matter.
