Ready to conquer space
Of course, as a mother I am concerned and I will always be," Bonie Pandya said. "She is my baby, the youngest of my three children. But then, she is also an individual, and she chose her career and what she wants to do. She is an explorer -- so what can you say? I just hope and pray to god that she goes up and comes back safely."
Bonie Pandya said she and her husband Dr Deepak Pandya, who teaches neuroscience at the Harvard and Boston University Medical Schools, are looking forward to the day when their daughter makes her first space flight.
