Giving a touch of spirituality to his packed engagement, United States President George Bush on Thursday held a meeting with a group of leaders of different religions in New Delhi.
Following his lunch with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Bush spent a few minutes with nine prominent leaders, representing five religions, at the Maurya Sheraton hotel.

The leaders, who met the visiting dignitary included Mohammed Ammar Rizvi, a Shia leader from Lucknow, Swami Agnivesh, Doboom Tulku, a Buddhist monk and scholar from Tibet house, Tarlochan Singh and Syed Zafar Mahmood, an advisor to the government and member of the Sachar committee looking into the socio-economic status of Muslims in India.
Other religious leaders included L M Singh, representative of the Jain community, James Massey, a prominent Dalit scholar, Dominique Emmanuel, spokesperson for the Catholic Archdiocese of Delhi, and Acharya Sri Vasa Goswami from the Sri Chaitanya Sansthan.
