As the High Court asked for concrete action to be taken in the J&K sex scandal, two senior politicians have been arrested for their alleged involvement.
The Central Bureau of Investigation on Tuesday arrested two former ministers - Congress legislator Ghulam Ahmed Mir and Raman Mattoo, an independent legislator. They are both in CBI custody.
The next day, former Jammu and Kashmir additional advocate-general Anil Sethi also surrendered. The CBI had offered prize money to anyone who would have provided leads on Sethi's whereabouts.
This brings the total number of arrests to 13, including a deputy inspector-general of the Border Security Force and a deputy superintendent of police. The case revolves around the alleged rape of a minor girl.
