Ali Asad Chandia, 29, of Maryland was convicted on Tuesday by a United States federal jury in Alexandria, Virginia, of aiding the Lashkar e Tayiba.
Chandia, a member of the 'Virginia jihad network', has been found guilty of three counts of aiding the Lashkar e Tayiba, but was acquitted of the fourth count -- of supporting terrorists.
Chandia, a Pakistani citizen whose sentencing is due on August 18, faces up to 45 years in prison.
According to the prosecution, Chandia, a third-grade school teacher in Maryland, trained at a Lashkar camp in Pakistan and help the terrorist group acquire military hardware on his return to the United States.
He is the 11th member of the terror network to be convicted in one of the most significant terrorist investigations in the US since 9/11.
The investigations have not gone down well with the local Muslim community, whose members flocked to the courthouse on Tuesday to show support for Chandia.
Chandia remains free on a personal recognisance bond.
