President A P J Abdul Kalam on Tuesday returned the Office of Profit Bill back to Parliament for reconsideration.Official sources said Kalam sent a message to the Government seeking 'comprehensive criteria' for exemption of posts to protect parliamentarians and legislators against disqualification.
On Wednesday however, the government said it will re-present the legislation that seeks to exempt several posts from being considered office of profit in Parliament in the coming monsoon session.
