A P J Kalam in the Philippines
New Delhi and Manila signed four agreements on military exchanges, agricultural cooperation, tourism and pharmaceuticals, even as President Kalam held talks with his Philippines counterpart, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
President Arroyo hosted a state dinner for Kalam in the Rizal Hall of Malacanag. The Filipino President said, during the dinner, that that the visit of the Indian leader had elevated relations between India and the Philippines "to a more meaningful level."
