The 50-year-old wife of senior Congress leader Luv Bhargava was shot at in Lucknow on February 20, when she tried to protect her daughter-in-law from eve-teasing. The main accused, Sunny Rawat, first confessed and then did a u-turn, retracting his statement with an explanation that he had been under pressure to make it.

Meanwhile, the Bhargava family protested her death and are waiting for justice.
