Delhi police announces reward for information on blasts

The Delhi Police Sunday announced a reward of Rs one lakh for information on those involved in Saturday's serial bomb blasts in the capital.

Announcing the reward, Police Commissioner K K Paul said the identity of those giving the information would be kept confidential. The phone numbers to call are 100, 23490311, 23236144, 23236040.

The police commissioner reviewed security arrangements with top officials across the capital particularly in sensitive and crowded areas. Security was beefed up at railway stations as well as airports.

The police have set up sandbag pickets and erected metal detector door frames at some prominent markets in the capital and intensified frisking there.
