The issue of sharing seats between the Congress and Lok Janshakti Party has "to a large extent" been resolved with the two sides deciding not to put up candidates against each other's sitting MLAs in Bihar.
All India Congress Committee observer for the Bihar assembly election, B K Hari Prasad, said this at a press conference in Patna.
State Congress chief Ramjatan Sinha, who was with him, refused to take questions on the failure of a complete alliance with the Rashtriya Janata Dal.
Prasad said the issue of who would be chief minister would be decided after the election.
