A Delhi court on Friday remanded to 14-day judicial custody principals of two government schools, Om Prakash Sharma and Ved Prakash Sharma, and their two associates, Om Prakash and Jagdish, who allegedly raped a girl.
They were arrested on Thursday after a first information report was registered, police said.
The 16-year-old girl, who had dropped out of school in Class VIII, had enrolled for matriculation examination as a private candidate and was taking tuitions from Om Prakash Sharma, principal of Sarvodaya Balika Vidyalaya in Tagore Garden area.
Last Saturday, he told the girl that he could arrange a matriculation certificate for her and asked her to accompany him to meet a friend, Ved Prakash Sharma, principal of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya in Raghuvir Nagar.
They then took her to a public works department guesthouse in Badli area where they their associates, both businessmen, joined them.
The accused allegedly raped the girl repeatedly at knifepoint.
They dropped her near her house the next morning after warning her not to tell anyone about the incident.
However, her relatives came to know and approached the police. A medical examination of the girl confirmed rape and the accused were arrested, sources said.
