An Indian national has been arrested in Bangladesh for his alleged involvement in the country's serial bombings in August, police said on Tuesday.
Giasuddin, 35, was arrested from western Satkhira district and was believed to be a member of the banned militant group Jamaat Mujaheedin Bangladesh, they said.
Media reports claimed that he had confessed to planning and planting bombs in Satkhuira district on August 17.

He also reportedly confessed to setting off bombs at one area of the district.
Police is to seek remand his from a court.
Giasuddin hails from North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal.
Police claimed that he was involved in extremist activities and fled India to Bangladesh. He then became a member of JMB.
The nationwide serial blasts left three people killed and some 150 injured. The third person died of injuries in a hospital this week.
