One of his favourites is one made in 1823 of iron. Kanekar says it was made in a Mysore foundry and he picked it up in a junkshop.
He has idols made of terracotta, ivory, porcelain, fibreglass, seashells, sandalwood, paper mache, plaster of paris, copper, brass, iron, gold and silver.
In fact he also has a postage stamp from Laos and some Indonesian currency on which the lord is depicted!
