Designer Ritu Kumar is best known for her exquisitely embroidered and crafted ethnic creations and for dressing up the country's Miss Indias.
No wonder, her show at the Lakme India Fashion Week was opened by current Miss India Tanushree Datta.
Wearing her crown and a black Ritu Kumar dress, Tanushree did a jig on the ramp to the strains of the song Saiyyan dil mein aana re.
Her dance, which was endearing and entertaining, set the mood for the show.
