It was not just a fashion show. It was an hour of entertainment as Asha Bhosle's Dum maro dum merged seamlessly into Spain's Flamenco music.

The magic was not just in the clothes, it was in the models as well.

Ritu Kumar is famed for highlighting the beauty of Indian textiles and craftsmanship; she did not disappoint this time either. Exquisitely embroidered ghagras were accessorised with traditional Rajasthani jewellery.

Miss India Tanushee Dutta, who walked the ramp for Ritu's opening sequence, did a little jig to the song Saiyyan dil mein aana re. Manpreet Brar and Shruti Sharma were the other former Miss Indias who modelled specially for Ritu.

Her second line saw models in ochre colored pants walk the ramp with prayer beads in hand to the strains of Dum maro dum.

The line inspired by Spain's Flameco dancers showed a range of skirts. Livening up the show was a Flameco dancer, who did a small segment complete with a fan and other trimmings.

The clothes were vintage Ritu Kumar. The show was brilliant. All in all, it was an hour of sheer magic.
