The magic of the sari

Home | LIFW | Collections | Sabyasachi Mukherjee

Sabyasachi teamed the sari with a short jacket to create a vintage look. He says he just couldn't help doing saris for the show.

"I am a Bong [slang for Bengali] and I love saris. I am also Indian so I can't imagine doing a show without having a few saris in it," he says.

Except for one sari that was priced at Rs 28,000, most of Sabyasachi's clothes have been priced between Rs 600 and Rs 12,000.
