Welcome Aboard the Peace Boat
Photojournalist Naiomy Toyoda has covered both wars in Iraq. He has returned with pictures of the victims of the bombings by the United States and other countries during the first Gulf War in 1991. Depleted uranium was used to harden the shells of the bombs dropped on Iraq. The fall-out: women in Baghdad and Iraq's second largest city Basra are now fighting cancer.
