Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Kishenchand Advani may revoke former Madhya Pradesh chief minister Uma Bharti's suspension soon.

Bharti was suspended after she challenged Advani to take disciplinary action against her during the meeting of the party office-bearers on November 10 in New Delhi.

The meeting -- during which Bharti defied Advani on the issue of maintaining discipline in the party and accused some BJP leaders of targeting her -- was being telecast live on TV.

Bharti, who went to Kedarnath and Badrinath after her suspension, returned to New Delhi on Tuesday and met former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee at his residence.

According to party sources, the issue is likely to be sorted out in the first week of December and she is likely to be reinstated as party general secretary.
