The enfant terrible of the fashion world, Malini makes news both on and off the ramp.
Off it, she made news when she stood up and identified accused Manu Sharma in the Jessica Lal murder case. The former model was shot to death at Ramani's mother's crowded restaurant in Delhi. Yet, apart from Malini, almost no other witness came forward to identify the accused in court.
Malini has since put the whole incident behind her and emerged one of the spunkiest designers today. Her clothes are playful, glamorous and sexy -- much like her, she beleives.
At the fittings, she was cool, calm and organised. Dressed in a red top with perfectly painted long red fingernails and white sunglasses perched casually on top of her head, Malini was a picture of attitude and chic.
