Patna professor shot dead

A professor at a Patna college was shot dead by gunmen on Saturday, police said.

S Lal, Head of the Department of Chemistry, Patna Science College, was

killed in Saidpur locality of city when he was on his way to the college from his Professors' Colony home.

The motive behind the killing is not clear.
