"We have put the contingency flight schedule in place and it will take at least a week before we can come back with the original schedule," an A-I official said.
"The tough stance of the Civil Aviation Ministry and A-I management has led to the withdrawal of Indian Pilots
Guild's directives on the SARS issue," Air-India's
Director Public Relations, Jitender Bhargava, said.
"With the derecognition of IPG, the pilots now have to give an individual undertaking before they report for work," A-I sources said adding, "it cannot be business as usual after causing such a financial loss to the airline."
