Reward for information on Pandya's murder

The Gujarat government has announced a reward of Rs 100,000 to any person providing "important and accurate" information on the killing of senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader and former home minister, Haren Pandya, the state assembly was informed.

Minister of State for Home Amit Shah told the assembly that "Pandya was shot by an unidentified person in the Law Garden area at 7.30 am on March 26."

"According to the information received by the police, the assailant is aged between 25 and 30 years and is around five feet tall," the minister said.

"The assailant was wearing a coffee coloured shirt and ash coloured trousers," Shah added.
