The Cottage Emporium in Delhi organised some programmes to mark the Teej Festival on Wednesday July 30. The festival is essentially for women, who pray for a happy and long married life. The associated rituals allow them to pamper and enjoy themselves, to feast, to dress up in their best.
A unique characteristic is the appearance of the decorated jhoola (swing).
