Pakistan condemns attack on Vaishno Devi pilgrims

Pakistan on Wednesday condemned the terrorist attack on Vaishno Devi pilgrims near the base of the hill-shrine at Banganga on Monday.

A foreign office statement also offered condolences to the bereaved families.

Six people were killed and 42 injured in the late night grenade attack on the pilgrims.

The foreign office, however, did not say anything on Tuesday's attack on an army camp near Jammu in which a brigadier was among eight army personnel killed.
