The Federation of Indian Americans on August 18 held a banquet at the Royal Albert's Palace, New Jersey, to honour the sponsors and chief guests of the India Day Parade 2003.

Among the attendees were president of the Indian American Forum for Political Education Sudhir Parekh, ex-FIA president Albert Jasani, actor Shah Rukh Khan, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan executive director Dr Navin Mehta and president of the Parade Coordinating Committee Sudhir Vaishnav.
