Army deployed in sensitive
areas of Gujarat

Army is being deployed in sensitive areas of Gujarat as a precautionary measure in the wake of the terrorist attack on the Akshardham temple on Tuesday, an army spokesman said on Wednesday.

A brigade comprising over 3,000 personnel would be deployed, he said.

Orders to this effect were given on Wednesday morning.
