Text of Nagappa's message

The following is the text of Nagappa's message in the cassette:

Respected Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri S M Krishna, I am here with Veerappan since eight days. I have diabetes. I have not got good food here. Since, police have surrounded the forest; Veerappan has not been able to get medicines required by me. If this continues for some more days, it would be difficult for me to survive.

I may have to die. Hence, I request you to withdraw the police. And please send Mani to have negotiations with Veerappan. When Mani comes, please send medicines with him. If you do this, I would be grateful to you forever and so would be my family.
