CPI for united front against BJP in Gujarat

Anand Mohan Sahay in Patna

Communist Party of India general secretary A B Bardhan on Wednesday asked the 'secular and democratic' forces in the country to jointly fight the Bharatiya Janata Party in the forthcoming Gujarat election in December.

Addressing a rally in Patna he said, "We can challenge the BJP and defeat it only when we fight together in Gujarat. The defeat of the BJP in Gujarat will mark a beginning of the end of the communal BJP in country."
