Key accused in the Delhi corporator murder case arrested

In a major breakthrough in the murder case of the Delhi corporator, Atma Ram, the police arrested key accused, Rajinder alias Raju Nai, on Tuesday from the Wazirpur JJ colony.

Rajinder, who has been absconding since the incident, was nabbed when he had come to meet some relatives, police sources said.

Gupta, a Congress corporator from Tri Nagar, was murdered allegedly at the behest of fellow party corporator Sharda Jain.

His body, with gunshot wounds, was found near a drain in Ghaziabad. According to the sources, Rajinder has reportedly 'corroborated' the sequence of events leading to the murder.
