J&K CM tells bureaucrats

Sayeed was in Jammu on the occasion of the opening of government offices following the annual shifting of the state capital for the winter.

Addressing senior officers at the civil secretariat, Sayeed said the sole objective of his government would be to create an atmosphere conducive for the return of complete normalcy and peace, ensure fair play, put an end to red-tapism and make the administration responsive and accountable.

He urged the state bureaucracy to adopt a positive approach in solving people's problems, especially those who had borne the brunt of militancy, and ensure effective implementation of various welfare schemes.

He reiterated that his government was committed to equitable development of all three regions - Jammu, Ladakh and Kashmir - of the state.
