Gill meets Muslim leaders in Gandhinagar

K P S Gill, security advisor to Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi, met important minority leaders from various parts of the state on Saturday.

"Minority community leaders from Ahmedabad, Baroda and other parts of the state met him and held discussions for about four hours," Gill's spokesman told PTI.

The meeting was held at a Central Reserve Police Force camp in Gandhinagar amid tight security.

Refusing to identify the leaders and the organisations they represented, the spokesman said: "Some organisations whose leaders came for today's meeting are directly involved in relief and rehabilitation works."

Later in the day, Gill met Modi and briefed him about his deliberations with the Muslim leaders, the spokesman said.
