Mohammed Imran alias Munna was arrested on Friday from Parade area, the sources said.
Sensitive documents and maps of the cantonment area in Kanpur were seized which, along with some fake passports and ration cards, he was trying to send to the ISI headquarters at Karachi, they said.
A dairy containing phone numbers of ISI officials in Pakistan and Dubai was also seized from the agent.
During interrogation, he confessed having sent sensitive information about the cantonment areas of Lucknow, Allahabad, Faizabad and Delhi.
