The three Lashkar-e-Tayiba militants arrested in New Delhi on Thursday night were remanded to 14 days' of police custody by a city court.
Sheikh Sajjad, Mirajuddin Peer and Feroz Ahmed Sheikh -- all residents of Kashmir -- were produced amidst tight security in the court of Special Judge S N Dhingra, who remanded them for custodial interrogation to the special cell of Delhi police till May 24.
Police told the court that the militants were apprehended from the Nizamuddin area of the capital and 5 kg of RDX, 3.77 kg of other explosive substances, four detonators, one remote controlled detonating device, mobile phones and Rs 200,000 in cash were recovered from them.
Police said the consignment was to be delivered to two LeT militants, Abu Bilal and Abu Zabi-ullah, who were killed in an encounter on Thursday night in Nizamuddin area.
Bilal was an accused in the December 2000 Red Fort shootout incident.
