Former Union minister and expelled Biju Janata Dal leader Dilip Ray was on Wednesday re-elected to the Rajya Sabha from Orissa, an official engaged in the election process said.
There were five candidates for the four Rajya Sabha seats from the state. Congress candidate Mourish Kujur lost out, he added.
Sushree Devi and Pramila Bohidar of the BJD and Surendra Lath of the Bharatiya Janata Party were the other three to get elected, he said.
Ray was dropped from the Atal Bihari Vajpayee government last year after differences with Orissa Chief Minister and BJD chief Naveen Patnaik.
After his re-election, Ray said: "My next work would be to reunite old Biju family."
