Keep shilas under safe custody: Centre
to UP

The Centre has instructed the Faizabad district administration to take custody of the two shilas that were donated by Ram Janambhoomi Nyas president Ramchandra Das Paramhans on March 15.

Principal Secretary (Home) Naresh Dayal said that the shilas would soon be shifted from the Dashrath Mahal temple in Ayodhya and kept under the custody of the district magistrate.

The mahant of the temple, Devendra Prasadacharya, had urged the administration to shift the shilas elsewhere.
